At our church, we strive to be a place where kids of all ages can encounter the radical love of God in Jesus—instilling the values of love, justice, and inclusion, alongside a rich engagement with Scripture and the Christian tradition.

Our approach to Children’s Ministry is:

1) Christ-Centered

Christ is at the center of all we do. This is as true in children’s ministry as it is in every other aspect of our church. From our staff and volunteers who embody the love of Christ, to curriculum that presents the Bible as a unified story that points to Jesus—our goal is to help kids meet and fall in love with Jesus.

2) Discipleship-Focused

We believe that children can be discipled and that kids of all ages play an important role in the life of the church. Because of this, our approach to children’s ministry emphasizes discipleship, using practices like worship, prayer, Bible study, and service to equip kids for a life of discipleship as adults.

3) Justice-Oriented

It is never too early to begin instilling values like grace, mercy, love, and hospitality in children. Our church values justice and it’s our goal to instill those same values in our children. We achieve this by cultivating an atmosphere that is truly welcoming and inclusive to all, and through service projects that allow kids to participate in the outward-focused mission of our church.

What We Offer:

Nursery

Every Sunday morning during the worship service and for special services throughout the year.

Children’s Church

For Elementary Students during the second half of our worship service—featuring Bible lessons, service projects, crafts, and a lot of fun!

Special Events

From our Christmas Pageant, to the Easter Egg Hunt, Family Movie Nights, and a ton of other opportunities to connect with other families!

Nia Alvarez-Mapp the organizing director or New Yorkers for Equal Rights will lead a presentation and discussion about the New York State Equal Rights Amendment – a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would permanently protect the rights and freedoms of all New Yorkers. The Equal Rights Amendment will be on the ballot THIS November.
