The Gathering Table

This free meal for our community is back on third Sundays! We are dining together with take-outs only after 12:45pm. Looking forward to meeting you here!

The Gathering Table is a free meal provided to anyone in our community on the third Sunday of every month from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Join us for a hot and delicious meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, complete with dessert, of course!  Each month offers a different entrée (with sides) such as homemade lasagna, meatloaf, baked BBQ chicken, ham and scalloped potatoes, etc. Tables are set for our guests to come eat, relax and enjoy the company of others. Some months, we even have live music! 

We love spending time with our guests each month. We not only feed people, but we also feed the need for community. When the Gathering Table first opened its doors in July 2008, the goal was to provide fellowship, companionship and a place for people to gather. Connection with others is as important as the food on the table.

Are you looking to volunteer? The Gathering Table also provides a wonderful opportunity in which to serve our community. We often have volunteers and groups from outside our church come to help and we are enormously grateful to all those who serve food, bus tables, play music, etc.

The Teen Closet at Brockport First Baptist offers free clothing, shoes and accessories, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, to local teens on the third Sunday of each month from 11:00am – 1:00 pm, OR by appointment if needed. Prom attire is also available.

We have many sizes and dressing rooms on the premises for folks to try on clothing.

Donations of new and gently used items are accepted. Monetary donations are also appreciated toward the purchase of new socks and underwear. To donate clothes or make an appointment, please contact our church at (585) 637-9770.

The Teen Closet it located in the basement of the church; therefore, the ability to use stairs is required.

Nia Alvarez-Mapp the organizing director or New Yorkers for Equal Rights will lead a presentation and discussion about the New York State Equal Rights Amendment – a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would permanently protect the rights and freedoms of all New Yorkers. The Equal Rights Amendment will be on the ballot THIS November.
